About the role

  • Responsible for the accounting processes of diverse property portfolios (commercial, industrial & retail)
  • Regular and direct communication with the accounts team and property managers
  • Work closely with the accounts team for your portfolio of clients and the property management teams
  • Support Assistant Client Accountants & Client Accountants, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to internal and client KPIs
  • High volume processing of financial data on behalf of clients
  • Update control spreadsheets
  • Raise periodic and adhoc charges
  • Receipt income received into the bank
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and transfer rental income to the client
  • Perform any other duties that ensure the smooth running of the accounting department

Requirements

  • Proactive, practical, and positive approach to work
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent and professional communication skills
  • Good team working skills
  • Desire to learn and develop within the role
  • Maths & English G.C.S.E A-C
  • Good Numeracy Skills
  • IT & Software Skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  • No accounting qualifications required (not mandatory)
