About the role

  • Perform the complete accounting cycle
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Process monthly billing, intercompany billing and monitor follow-up
  • Record various receipts
  • Enter payroll journal entries and reconcile these entries
  • Prepare month-end and year-end files and prepare adjusting entries
  • Contribute to the production of monthly financial statements and perform various analyses
  • Assist with the preparation of various monthly and annual reports as required by management
  • Participate in optimizing procedures and processes by sharing your ideas

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • DEC (College Diploma) in Management Accounting or a combination of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Familiarity with Hopem, CTRL and SenSass software – an asset
  • Knowledge of the real estate and construction sector (CCQ) – an asset
