About the role

  • Controlling/Accounting Manager managing hotel financial processes for AHORN Hotels & Resorts in Berlin. Overseeing accounting, cash control, and financial reporting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Review of day‑end closings, including cash receipts
  • Review and posting of incoming invoices in the accounts payable management system (ALLINVOS)
  • Monitoring of accounts receivable and deposit payments, including dunning procedures
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Preparation of the weekly forecast
  • Preparation of the monthly BWA (management report) in line with budget targets
  • Preparatory tasks for the annual financial statements

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training
  • Experience in hotel accounting is advantageous
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • Proficiency in common Office software, especially Excel
  • Experience posting entries using DATEV
  • Knowledge of controlling/financial software (e.g., LucaNet, fairmas or similar)
  • Independent, structured and deadline‑oriented working style
