Responsibilities
Lead and oversee accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses for significant areas of the business.
Direct and guide the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Perform complex financial analyses, variance reviews, and prepare schedules for management, auditors, and regulatory reporting.
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support broader business objectives.
Recommend and implement process improvements, new policies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff, supporting their development and growth.
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manage and analyze complex financial data.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to create and implement process improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions and influence decisions.
Ability to work independently and lead projects or initiatives with minimal supervision
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related accounting experience; a master’s degree may substitute for some experience.
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
