About the role

  • Work within accounting team to support various projects and activities on a daily basis.
  • Execute bookkeeping and accounting postings.
  • Take responsibility for monthly invoicing and revenue reconciliation.
  • Conduct General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations.
  • Aid in the preparation of VIES and VAT audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Provide responses to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • Calculate monthly provisions and accruals.
  • Engage in departmental projects and report to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Additional computer training or certification is advantageous.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data programs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Team player; self-motivated and takes ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Candidate will be based in Athens (Kifissia, Attica).
