About the role
- Accounting Analyst ensuring accuracy of payroll and financial reporting in São Paulo. Collaborating on regulatory compliance and managing financial records in a hybrid work setup.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the recording of all Payroll events based on reports issued by the Human Resources/Payroll department.
- Ensure analysis of Balance Sheet accounts.
- Support accounting controls versus financial reporting by preparing and presenting reports.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of the Digital Accounting Bookkeeping (ECD).
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of the Tax Accounting Bookkeeping (ECF).
- Ensure the recording of all employee benefits.
- Help control the accounting entries for all organizational processes through checklists and analysis of system-generated reports.
- Assist in the allocation analysis of revenues and expenses to their respective cost centers (CDC's).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Previous experience in the accounting area (minimum 2 years as an assistant or junior accountant), with familiarity with accounting processes and spreadsheet manipulation.
- Active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council).
- Knowledge of the TOTVS Protheus system is desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data extraction and data manipulation).
- Experience with BI (Business Intelligence) is a plus.
