About the role

  • Execute classification routines and accounting entries.
  • Control and record accounting provisions.
  • Control and account for prepaid expenses (insurance and others).
  • Manage the company's fixed assets (acquisitions, disposals, depreciations) in accordance with applicable CPC standards.
  • Generate foreign exchange variations and maintain related controls.
  • Record payments under the responsibility of the accounting department.
  • Perform account reconciliations (general ledger vs. sub-ledgers).
  • Generate and analyze the SPED ECD (annual filing).
  • Prepare external reports for legal obligations (IBGE, CAGED, etc.).
  • Maintain chart of accounts tables, exchange rates, etc., in SAP.
  • Update the ICS (Internal Control System) according to group requirements.
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports (trial balances and financial statements).
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Prepare and update the company's management system with monthly close data (Cognos).
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations (accounts receivable and payable).
  • Support company departments on accounting matters.

Requirements

  • Experience in accounting.
  • Knowledge of the SAP FI-AA and FI modules.
  • Understanding of accounting processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office — required.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP — desirable.
  • Advanced English — required.
