About the role

  • Record and maintain daily accounting transactions in the accounting system (including, but not limited to, bank transactions, interest income, bank charges, leases, financial assets, prepayments and accruals).
  • Prepare bank and other reconciliations of the group companies and ensure any discrepancies are resolved timely.
  • Monitor the company’s card expenses and reconcile to receipts obtained from the departments.
  • Prepare management accounts for small group companies and explain variances.
  • Prepare VAT returns.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the direct manager or the CFO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable, billing, or related finance role.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and workflow tools like Trello.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
