About the role

  • growing, developing and managing Xero’s relationships with existing Xero partners
  • as an Account Manager on our Go-To-Market Sales team, you are the strategic growth partner for Accounting and Bookkeeping firms
  • helping them build a modern, cloud-first practice with our suite of tools
  • move them through Xero status’ by signing clients onto Xero
  • developing business plans with partners to develop their online strategy
  • managing your territory to recruit, educate and grow the Xero Partner channel
  • collaborate to help our partners and each other succeed

Requirements

  • Direct experience in inbound phone and email sales
  • Proven sales performance with the ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners over the phone
  • An interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting market
  • Accounting Product knowledge and understanding of the workings of an Accounting Practice
  • Attention to detail and follow-up
  • Direct experience with long term sales cycles and managing long term client relationships
  • Loads of initiative and self-motivation
  • Experience with presentation and spreadsheet tools including a CRM database
