About the role

  • Account Management Lead driving growth and success of Joko's existing partnerships with top-tier retailers. Leading a team, negotiating deals, and optimizing revenue operations.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead a team of three Account Managers (with plans to grow to six full-time hires), guiding them to deliver best-in-class results, identify new growth opportunities, and oversee strategic projects that support our business objectives.
  • Support your team by participating in key negotiations with our top partners; build strong, long-lasting relationships with partners (CMOs and senior marketing stakeholders across retail and e-commerce).
  • Define and own the team’s revenue targets and OKRs. Partner with the VP Card-Linked to develop quarterly plans and collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations, data) to drive execution.
  • Ensure we have the right processes in place (revenue forecasting, CRM management, etc.) to scale with solid fundamentals; optimize cashed-in revenue. Work closely with Business Operations and Finance to design and implement these processes.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance our partner value proposition, pricing models, and internal efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in business-facing roles (client-facing roles in a startup or within the tech industry, in finance, or in consulting), preferably in Sales or Account Management.
  • Degree from a top-tier business or engineering school.
  • A passion for building from scratch, embracing challenges, being hands-on, ambitious, and an effective problem solver.
  • Proven ability to manage projects autonomously from inception to completion, set and exceed high standards, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Strong aptitude for quickly understanding customer needs, exceeding targets, and closing deals.
  • Enjoys analyzing data and making data-informed decisions.
  • Energized by engaging with new people; strong active listening skills and the ability to craft solutions to address challenges.
  • Comfortable using productivity tools and delivering on time on projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Enjoys challenges, embraces feedback, and has a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Highly adaptable, organized, and autonomous; consistently goes the extra mile.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Managerial experience is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of the media and adtech ecosystem is a plus.
