About the role

Responsibilities
- You integrate financial data from various business areas and work in partnership with IT and finance experts as well as product owners.
- You design and implement scalable, reliable, and flexible solutions using Microsoft Azure / Synapse / Fabric components for our data platform with a focus on finance.
- You build and operate robust data pipelines for analytical and operational finance use cases.
- You perform data quality checks and drive continuous improvements across the entire lifecycle of our financial data products.
- You ensure compliance with data governance policies and actively shape our data product standards in the finance domain.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the financial sector
- Strong knowledge of modern data technologies with a focus on Microsoft Azure and data modeling (star schema, Snowflake, Data Vault)
- Several years of experience in data processing languages, particularly Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Strong analytical skills and experience solving complex financial data problems
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
