About the role

  • Cloud Data Analyst leading data-centric IT product delivery focusing on cloud solutions. Collaborating with teams to ensure regulatory compliance and data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and analyze user requirements from legacy .NET/SQL platforms; translate into user stories and migration plans
  • Design and document scalable data pipelines for cloud platforms (Databricks, Azure)
  • Analyze, transform, and integrate complex data sources for business and regulatory needs
  • Document data flows, business logic, and integration points for migration and knowledge transfer
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance; set standards for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (risk modelers, data architects, developers)
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and support UAT/release planning
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders, driving platform consistency

Requirements

  • Expert-level T-SQL for querying and performance tuning
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud data solutions, such as AWS or similar platforms
  • Strong experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data transformation
  • Experience with data pipelines/ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Kafka, etc.)
  • Proven ability to design and support data flows in cloud environments
  • Ability to analyze legacy systems, run workshops, and drive migration
  • Solid stakeholder management in a matrixed environment
  • Track record with agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish) advantageous
  • Experience coordinating UAT, releases, and performance/security validation
  • Hands-on with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake (nice-to-have)
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting and risk frameworks (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with insurance data, risk modeling, or exposure data (nice-to-have)
  • Knowledge of Basel risk metrics, credit/risk exposure, or actuarial data (nice-to-have)
