About the role

  • Legal Advisor Insurance responsible for managing insurance contracts, financial steering, and risk assessment. Role involves insurance claims processing and communication with insurers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for insurance management, including administration, monitoring and regular updating of all company insurance contracts
  • Financial management of insurance matters such as budget preparation and review of premium invoices
  • Identification, assessment and ongoing monitoring of company risks
  • End-to-end handling and settlement of claims, including documentation and communication with insurers
  • Coordination of all relevant company information for brokers
  • Participation in the development of insurance concepts and solutions
  • Optimization of the existing insurance portfolio through analyses and exchange with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training with a focus on insurance, finance or risk management, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in corporate insurance management, with an insurer or an insurance broker is desirable
  • Good MS Office skills and initial experience with SAP
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Responsible, structured and flexible way of working
  • Strong understanding of operational risks and technical and economic interrelationships
  • Excellent team and communication skills
  • Assertiveness and a confident appearance
