About the role
- Supply Chain Clerk ensuring smooth logistics operations for ZF in Gray Court, SC. Preparing shipping documents, managing inventory, and coordinating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documentation to include customs declarations and commercial invoice for transmissions and small parts (service and MRO).
- Receive incoming shipments into the facility: verify part number, quantity, PO number from shipment documents and package labels.
- Input goods receipts and shipments into SAP and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Maintain records of all received shipments, all outbound shipments, to include customer returns.
- Clean, organize and ensure 5S standards are maintained in the Shipping/Receiving Office, assuring a safe and sanitary work area.
- Report damaged goods and/or shortages.
- Route goods to the proper departments (rework department, return department, quality lab, etc.).
- Facilitate all carrier contact regarding scheduled deliveries and/or pickups.
- Use dollies, forklifts, and other PIV to transport shipments from loading dock and around warehouse.
Requirements
- High school diploma required and associates degree preferred.
- 0-3+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP system.
- 2+ years of experience with SAP preferred.
- Good Computer Skills in Microsoft products.
- In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within shipping and receiving.
- Basic knowledge of DOT compliance and relevant regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally in writing.
- Forklift license preferred.
