Manufacturing Engineer supporting shopfloor automation and control systems for automotive industry. Enhancing project operations and user training with technical solutions in Hungary.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for shopfloor and related hardware, software, and applications in our assembly lines
Improve/debug control systems for single devices and/or specific functions of electrical machinery and equipment on the shopfloor involving PLCs (programmable logic controllers)
Implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion
Respond to the needs and questions of shopfloor users concerning their access and use of shopfloor applications, issues, and training needs
Detect failures/errors, analyze root causes and establish adequate solutions
Effectively communicate issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical personnel
Implement changes in the user and system software and hardware requirements in alignment with central department
Train end-users and maintain proper documentation with PLC’s and other related shopfloor applications
Understand and comply with IATF 16949 requirements.
Take part in ramp-up activities towards series production.
Act as part of the team providing support to ensure continuous production
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field like automation, electronics, mechatronics or similar
Min. 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
Know-how in electronics
Experienced with special programming (Robot, Camera System, Servo Press, etc.) and understanding of PLC troubleshooting (Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, WinCC)
Demonstrated teamwork-orientation, communication and analytical thinking skills
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Software and Database Software
English and Hungarian language knowledge at working proficiency level
