About the role

  • Accounting Manager overseeing revenue recognition and ensuring compliance with US GAAP at Zelis. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the general ledger process to estimate and record revenue for the Zelis Price business unit
  • Support the monthly calculation of revenue KPIs and other critical estimates
  • Support process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives
  • Perform analytic review of revenue results and document analysis
  • Design and maintain strong internal controls surrounding key processes and ensure data integrity
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Partner with external auditors and cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Proven experience in accounting management
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, operational accounting, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
