About the role

  • Accounting Manager for a German real estate company handling WEG accounting. Overseeing entire payment processes and collaborating with technical property managers.

Responsibilities

  • You take full responsibility for the accounting of the properties we manage – with a focus on WEG (condominium owners' association) administration.
  • You review and code incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts receivable/accounts payable), post accounting transactions and manage the dunning process – including deadline monitoring and, where necessary, oversight of debt collection.
  • You manage and monitor all payment transactions (planned vs. actual reconciliation) and support liquidity planning for individual properties.
  • You independently prepare annual statements for condominium owners' associations and utility/operating-cost statements for rental property management – digitally, clearly and in a structured way.
  • You work closely with our technical property managers, advise them on accounting questions and ensure that financial and technical property management work together seamlessly.
  • You are the point of contact for accounting-related queries from owners and advisory boards – competent, solution-oriented and friendly, while remaining confident in your tone.
  • You prepare data for tax analyses and for external service providers (e.g., tax advisors or auditors).
  • You help further digitize and standardize our accounting processes – together with a team that is continuously committed to progress and innovation.

Requirements

  • A completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification in business/finance.
  • Relevant experience in accounting within a property management company.
  • Strong affinity for software: you learn new tools quickly, have a digital mindset and work in a structured way – experience with Impower is expressly desired.
  • You are familiar with digital work environments and ideally have prior experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Impower or HubSpot.
  • Strong numerical understanding and an accounting-oriented way of thinking.
  • You work independently, precisely and conscientiously – maintaining an overview even during busy or stressful periods.
  • You embrace service and coordination: whether with clients, colleagues or external partners – you remain friendly, professional and communicate clearly.

Benefits

  • Incentive-based, performance-related compensation package – significant outperformance possible.
  • Flexible working arrangements with the option to work from the office or from home as needed.
  • A workload that keeps you challenged without preventing you from achieving your goals.
  • We place high value on a socially responsible working environment, which includes clear structure and team spirit.
  • State-of-the-art equipment: you will work with premium hardware and cloud-based tools – efficient, fast and paperless.
  • A genuine feedback culture where you receive constructive feedback that genuinely helps you improve.
  • E-mobility included: use our internal e-car sharing for appointments or private errands.
  • Responsibility & impact: you are given trust, decision-making leeway and the opportunity to actively help shape things – in a company that keeps moving forward.
  • Over the coming years we plan to hire many more employees, giving you the chance to grow with the company and advance your career.
