About the role
- SAP Consultant overseeing SAP ERP landscape transition to SAP S/4HANA at ZEISS. Involvement in design, implementation, and support with a focus on global projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the exciting transition of our current SAP ERP landscape to SAP S/4HANA as part of a Greenfield approach.
- Responsible for the entire lifecycle – from ideation and design through implementation to training and solution support.
- Contribute your expertise to global M&A and SAP rollout projects and take on domain-specific responsibility.
- Apply both agile and traditional project management methods to drive functional delivery and project governance.
- Support and advise SAP key users across various international departments and coordinate external IT partners when required.
Requirements
- Completed degree in (business) computer science, industrial engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent successful vocational training.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in executing IT projects within SAP order-to-cash processes in the manufacturing industry.
- Deep understanding of sales processes in the SAP SD area (SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA).
- Experience working with ABAP programs, both for reading/analyzing code and for debugging.
- Knowledge of modeling complex products in SAP using (advanced) Variant Configuration.
- Willingness to travel as required and very good command of English, both written and spoken.
