About the role
- SAP RTR / FICO Process Expert utilizing extensive SAP S/4 Hana expertise to optimize IPEX operations. Collaborating across IT and business sectors for effective implementation of processes.
Responsibilities
- Support business units in optimizing and redesigning end-to-end processes.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and work with development teams or external vendors to turn them into technical solutions.
- Act as the business representative for new S/4HANA capabilities and features.
- Provide advisory support to help business units design, test and implement business process changes.
- Lead cross-functional activities and track progress against established timelines.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders: business users, vendors, customers, project team members and managers.
- Gather and communicate all requirements necessary to support value creation, meet objectives and address stakeholder needs.
- Lead and participate in user acceptance testing sessions to confirm requirements prior to deployment.
- Effectively manage changes and conflicts during requirements collection; obtain business stakeholder approval and sign-off.
- Regularly communicate progress, risks, blockers and status updates.
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses and support the prioritization process for requirements (in coordination with business stakeholders and the SAP CoE team).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Logistics, Business Management, Computer Science or a related field.
- SAP certifications in relevant modules.
- More than 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in an SAP IT support role as a functional analyst.
- Deep knowledge of requirements-gathering methodologies and business process modeling.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly IBP, FICO, OCR, VIM, and a solid understanding of procurement, distribution, planning and the end-to-end financial cycle.
- Good understanding of SAP functional areas within manufacturing and logistics.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, design and SAP S/4 implementation.
- Thorough knowledge of cross-application or cross-solution areas, including their business objects, services and processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen and experience in the manufacturing, distribution and sales sectors.
- Ability to effectively engage business users in their adoption journey, explain scenarios and their concrete impacts, and support the transition to new ways of working.
- Demonstrated experience in training or coaching end users.
- Ability to build relationships, influence and resolve issues at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently with high self-motivation.
- Strong customer orientation, high energy, positive attitude and team spirit.
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Required experience in technical project management.
- Bilingual French/English is a major asset.
