About the role
- Develop and structure data models.
- Design, develop and maintain data models using DBT.
- Transform raw data into structured, reliable, and production-ready datasets.
- Implement and configure data quality tests (e.g., Monte Carlo).
- Ensure the consistency, availability, and integrity of information used by business teams.
- Participate in technical acceptance/testing phases.
- Validate the compliance and performance of developments before they are deployed to production.
- Design, maintain, and optimize LookML models to define Looker’s semantic layer.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations (Looks) in Looker in collaboration with the Product Manager.
Requirements
- Experienced freelance consultant (minimum 3–5 years’ experience in data engineering / data analysis).
- Proficiency in DBT, Looker, and LookML.
- Familiarity with data quality tools, ideally Monte Carlo.
- Good understanding of business issues, particularly commercial/sales.
- Experience in an international environment or in the premium/luxury sector is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, be rigorous, and proactive.
- Good command of English.
