Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare, monitor and review the collections area budget, ensuring alignment between financial targets, historical performance and future projections. Perform variance analyses and build rolling forecasts for collections, delinquency and operating costs.
Responsible for monitoring and controls of the following financial result lines: fines and interest received, and discounts granted.
Collections P&L Management: Track and analyze the operation’s profit and loss statement (P&L), ensuring visibility and accuracy of the indicators that impact financial performance. Support the coordinator in interpreting the main outcome drivers and propose action plans to optimize margins and profitability.
Cost per Collected Currency Unit: Calculate and monitor the cost per currency unit collected, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reductions by channel and portfolio. Develop comparative analyses across internal, external and digital channels.
PDD vs Collections: Conduct sensitivity analyses between the Provision for Doubtful Debts (PDD) and collections, assessing the accounting and budgetary impact of collection strategies. Support decision-making on credit policies, renegotiation and recovery strategies.
Roll behavior and LTV: Monitor roll behavior of delinquent portfolios, evaluating balance evolution over time and the impact on Lifetime Value (LTV). Build models and reports to measure financial return by cohort and strategy.
Boleto / DIS portfolio: Monitor performance and the financial profile of the boleto portfolio and DIS students, identifying risks, opportunities and payment behavior patterns. Support the definition of differentiated collection strategies for these segments.
Market and Competitive Intelligence: Perform comparative analyses against market practices, benchmarking collections indicators and sector trends in education and finance. Support the area’s strategic positioning relative to competitors and the macroeconomic environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Project Management, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
Professional with strong financial technical skills and broad analytical vision, capable of connecting operational and financial results into an integrated view of the collections P&L.
Proven experience in financial planning, performance, controllership or financial intelligence, preferably in collections or credit operations.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL and financial modeling.
Analytical capability and business acumen focused on profitability, efficiency and financial sustainability.
