About the role

  • Finance Consultant - ERP optimizing bookkeeping processes for German SMEs with Haufe X360. Collaborating with clients on finance and accounting solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • You analyze and optimize accounting processes and develop process-driven solutions that are correct from an accounting perspective
  • You provide professional and systematic advice to our clients in Finance & Accounting, particularly during the implementation and continuous development of Haufe X360
  • You configure the ERP system in the finance area (tax logic, chart of accounts, posting templates, open-item logic, etc.) and support clients through to go-live
  • You prepare requirements analyses and tailor-made solution concepts for finance departments and contribute to quality assurance through posting tests, open-item reconciliations and error analyses
  • You design automation solutions and implement them in Haufe X360 to increase the efficiency of financial processes
  • You train and support users to ensure successful integration and adoption of Haufe X360
  • You ensure smooth integration of financial accounting with other Haufe X360 modules such as production, logistics and sales
  • You support the optimization of reporting and data transparency within accounting in Haufe X360
  • You support our project management with your specialist expertise, both in day-to-day activities and in client-facing situations
  • You document your work clearly and in a structured way so it is transparent and understandable for team members and clients

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in ERP implementation consulting, particularly in finance — ideally with Haufe X360 (alternatively e.g. SAP Business One, DATEV Unternehmen online, Lexware, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of financial processes and their requirements for ERP systems (e.g. financial accounting, controlling, liquidity management)
  • Experience in analyzing and optimizing financial processes and implementing them in ERP systems
  • Good understanding of tax-specific cases (e.g. Section 13b of the German VAT Act (§13b UStG), intra-community supplies/services, cross-border postings)
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
