Responsibilities
Leads financial oversight and investment strategy for the real estate division, ensuring strong controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Directs financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, capital planning, and debt sourcing/servicing in partnership with Corporate Treasury and Accounting.
Manages the identification, evaluation, and execution of real estate acquisitions, developments, and dispositions, including underwriting, feasibility, due diligence, entitlements, negotiations, and project management.
Builds and maintains partner and lender relationships to structure transactions and advance strategic initiatives.
Provides leadership to assigned teams and collaborates with organizational leaders to drive performance and maximize returns.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
Ten (10) years of progressive experience within the finance function of a complex organization of which at least three (3) years must be in a supervisory/managerial role.
Strong knowledge of widely accepted financial management practices and principles.
Advanced knowledge and proficiency maintaining, managing, and communicating FP&A, P&L’s, investment returns and proforma analyses.
Knowledge of and proficiency navigating financial management systems (i.e. SAP).
Ability to understand complex legal documents such as joint venture agreements, land contracts, title restrictions, and other documents related to real estate.
Knowledge of real estate markets, industry analysis and best practices.
Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via FOR applications.
High degree of knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
