About the role
- Sr. Manager leading procurement strategy for WSS branches at Xylem, ensuring alignment with company goals while driving efficiency and compliance in purchasing execution.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall procurement strategy for all WSS branches
- Lead supplier selection, RFx events, negotiations, and commercial agreements for strategic and high-impact spend
- Directly manage the consultant team responsible for tactical and transactional purchasing activities across WSS branches
- Drive continuous improvement in purchasing accuracy, responsiveness, compliance, and cycle times
- Develop and manage logistics budget and analyze data to identify cost saving opportunities
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify potential risks in logistics operations and implement risk management strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (APICS/ASCM certification preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including strategic sourcing and operational leadership
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and/or outsourced or consultant-based purchasing models
- Strong SAP MM expertise
- Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
- Proven ability to set strategy, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in complex environments.
