About the role

• Principal Environmental Consultant working on oil and gas permitting and project management. Overseeing project delivery within the Environment division for sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a diverse portfolio of oil and gas projects from project concept through to decommissioning.
• Depending on your experience, act as a project manager and/or project sponsor across a range of operators.
• Take the lead client contact role on a day-to-day basis and guide consultants within the team to deliver challenging projects on time and within budget.
• Occasionally undertake secondments with oil and gas clients.
• Responsible for report writing and client liaison, helping to drive high-quality delivery with support from other senior consultants.
• Collaborate often with other discipline-led divisions in Xodus.

Requirements

• **Qualifications and Competencies**
• Significant demonstrated professional experience in oil and gas permitting (including term and life chemical permitting)
• Knowledge of offshore energy industries
• Degree level training in a relevant discipline e.g., environment, chemistry, engineering
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
• Good understanding of the offshore legislation and involvement in reviewing and consulting on relevant legislation
• Attendance at technical working groups in previous role
• You will know how to engage effectively with stakeholders.
