About the role

• Senior Consultant / (Senior) Manager in Energy/Utilities helping clients navigate the energy landscape. Driving business transformations and managing multidisciplinary teams in a data/AI-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Driving impactful business transformations, ensuring high-quality execution from strategy to acceptance within the organization.
• Leading projects and ensuring effective collaboration among multi-disciplinary team members.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders at new and existing clients and aligning with their organizational objectives.
• Managing and guiding consultants on projects and in their personal development.
• Building and promoting Valcon with a focus on the Utilities industry.

Requirements

• A completed academic degree in a relevant field.
• Solid experience in the Utilities industry, with a strong understanding of energy sector regulations and market trends.
• Proven track record for project management tasks in the Utilities industry.
• For managerial level: strong leadership skills in managing teams, providing guidance and support to junior colleagues and mentoring to help develop their skills and knowledge.
• Broad affinity with data-driven optimization and technological innovation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in building and maintaining lasting client relationships.
• Willingness to travel to client locations throughout the Netherlands, if required.
• You're fluent in both Dutch and English.
