About the role

  • Research Administrator managing grant proposals and post-award activities for the Chemistry department. Collaborating with faculty and overseeing compliance and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Research Administrators (RAs) support faculty with grant proposals and compliance
  • Manage a portfolio of faculty post-award and payroll sourcing activities
  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators (PIs) to compile and submit grants
  • Oversee day-to-day management of research administration
  • Implement procedures for efficient workflow and staff training
  • Manage complex award reviews and annual agency reports
  • Coordinate submission of grant-related documentation
  • Track and maintain an online database of grants
  • Communicate with leadership to ensure service excellence for faculty
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and monitor budgets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
  • Relevant Experience (4 Years)
  • Grants Administration (2 Years)
  • Knowledge of S2S and SUBS system
  • Knowledge of agency guidelines
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
