About the role

  • Director of Community Engagement and Education for DBBS at Washington University Medical Campus. Leading programs to enhance student experience and diversity initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes strategies for Community Engagement and Co-Curricular Activities to support DBBS PhD programs
  • Responsible for management and professional development of direct reports
  • Working closely with the Director of Curriculum and Programs, leads initiatives to support students in the training environment
  • Guides assessment of programs and services to verify that co-curricular educational and wellness programs are effective, innovative, and responsive
  • Utilizes analytics and data to design, develop and implement effective student engagement and retention programs and services
  • Ensures institutional policies and practices are aligned with fair treatment of students
  • Develops the strategy and tactics for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives

Requirements

  • Master's degree
  • Administrative or managerial work experience (5 years)
  • Communication, critical thinking, interacting with all levels of management, problem resolution, strategy implementation, student affairs, teamwork
  • No specific certification/professional license is required for this position
