Responsibilities
Reporting to the Community Manager, develops and coordinates support services for residents of Historic South End Apartments in Boston.
Ensure resident and community success through close work with property management and building relationships with local and regional partners.
Planning programs and other on-site opportunities for residents.
Working one-on-one with residents to assist them in achieving their goals.
Track and report on progress as required by partners and funders to fulfill grant commitments.
Build relationships with residents to understand their aspirations and connect them with local resources.
Conduct new welcome orientations for new residents.
Create outreach and communication with residents, including newsletters and flyers.
Participate in ongoing professional development, at least 12 hours per year that pertain to the SC position.
Requirements
Bachelors degree with a focus in social work, human services, public health, or community development
2+ years of overall professional experience working with seniors and people with disabilities in housing or human services agencies required
Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and other computer programs
Previous engagement, communication and collaboration with residents of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds preferred
Experience working with partners and site team members to implement programs and initiatives
Knowledge of Yardi, Property Management databases, Dynamics and Power BI is a plus.
Bilingual Spanish speaker strongly preferred.
