Responsibilities
- Develop company-wide software engineering standards
- Develop software engineering environment/toolchain
- Find issues with a wide view, extract essential issues, make a plan for solutions. Visualize using graphical tools and implement process improvements based on data.
- Find the process that needs to be improved from communication with engineers and suggest an improved process and obtain agreement from engineers
- Build relationships with customers and suppliers to create a cooperative software engineering process
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience improving the system/software engineering process
- Experience of Japanese/US/Euro automotive OEM/supplier cultures
- 5 years of experience in the development of automotive software for mass production vehicles in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 company
- Experience developing engineering manuals/templates
- Experience conducting system/software requirement analysis, static code analysis,
- Experience building the process supporting tool across the toolchain and establishing it efficiently
- High level is fine, but knowledge to converse with machine learning engineers(e.g. Concepts used in supervised learning. Difference between verification & test data, what is annotation, etc.)
- Fluency in English and Japanese language
