About the role
- Student SW Engineer supporting Real Time OS development at NXP Semiconductors. Involved in requirements, design, and testing for embedded systems solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of requirements, design, architecture, configuration, code and tests for different parts of the product of the Real Time OS group.
- Develop DevOps solutions for demonstration of software and hardware features and for the validation of the software products.
- Work together with Senior developers to find solutions towards the customer’s requests by: planning, designing and implementing new software solutions, considering customers’ requirements performance improvement and optimization of their products;
- Definition and implementation of Real Time OS test framework and test cases;
- Creation of Board Support Packages for Autosar and non-Autosar solutions
- Pre- and post-silicon development using simulation and emulation environments
Requirements
- Studying in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- Very good hands-on experience with C programming
- Good knowledge of DevOps solutions ex: Jenkins or using a test framework like RobotFramework
- Knowledge of RTOS concepts is useful ( FreeRTOS, ZephyrOS)
- Experience with creating and debugging software on embedded systems
- Team player
- Good English skills (conversation and writing)
