About the role

  • Principal Consultant responsible for implementing Workday financial solutions. Collaborate with clients and ensure effective product configurations and data migration.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful implementation of Workday's product solutions
  • Provide implementation expertise to clients
  • Understand client business requirements and configure the Workday Financials solution
  • Assist clients in testing the Workday Financials solution
  • Help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations
  • Use Workday’s Implementation Methodology on all engagements
  • Help mentor new consultants
  • Ensure the client is referenceable once in production
  • Provide status reports to the Engagement Manager

Requirements

  • Prior experience implementing Workday as a customer or consultant is a MUST
  • A minimum of 7+ years as a customer or consultant in at least one of the following Financial solutions: Foundational Data Model (FDM), Financial Accounting, or Accounting Center
  • Proven project management experience
  • Functional experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30% if needed.
