Responsibilities
Overseeing the development of budgets, schedules and reports
Management and coordination of project staff and sub-contractors
Ensure safe, cost effective, efficient and timely completion of Studies
Meet and/or exceed client expectations
Requirements
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in a Mining EPCM Engineering environment, mining construction and/or mining operations.
Must have a minimum of 15 years as a Project Manager on several large mining projects ($100 Mn - $1 Bn) in lithium, gold, copper and other precious metals from study phase to execution and construction phases
Mining project experience is essential construction execution experience is essential
Experience in managing greenfield, or large brownfield projects is required
Demonstrated ability to develop new, proprietary and innovative solutions to current processes
Strong Leadership, solid communication & interpersonal skills are required
Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is considered an asset
A willingness to travel, both domestic and internationally, for varying durations and at times to remote locations
Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
