About the role
- Senior Pressure Parts Engineer in Power & Industrial, responsible for designing boiler and tank pressure parts. Requires extensive experience in power plants and ASME code calculations.
Responsibilities
- Perform the function of Senior Pressure Part Engineer including design of boiler pressure parts.
- Perform boiler pressure parts ASME I code calculation, stress calculations and material selection, thermal displacement calculations: tubes, headers, drums, transference pipes, etc
- Perform Tanks pressure parts ASME VIII code calculation, stress calculations and material selection.
- Boiler and Tanks General Arrangement
- Prepares Pressure parts technical data sheets, material takeoff and specifications.
- Prepares, verifies and/or approves pressure parts drawings related to the technical calculations performed.
- Check, comment, and approval of boiler pressure parts shop drawings.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- More than 10 years relevant experience in Power Plant Projects
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Good organization, written and oral skills
- Knowledge of American and International Standards and Codes (ASME I, ASME VIII and European codes)
- User experience of Solid works
- User of PV Elite
- User of Autocad
- Advanced user of MS Office specially EXCEL
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required.
- User of Solid works Simulation or ANSYS (valued positively)
- User of NAVIS 3 D Model
