Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and crisis intervention.
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on topics such as anger management, coping strategies, and interpersonal skills.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to coordinate holistic care.
Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources to support ongoing recovery.
Requirements
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
Valid and current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations.
Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
Specialized training or certification in group therapy, family therapy, or trauma-informed care.
Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams or community mental health settings.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Bilingual abilities or experience working with culturally diverse populations.
Advanced skills in case management and client advocacy.
