About the role

  • Stereotactic Radiation Therapist focusing on high-precision treatments at Barwon Health. Leading clinical protocols and ensuring high-quality patient care with expert technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical leadership across radiotherapy simulation, planning, and treatment
  • Ensure high-precision treatments like Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy are delivered effectively
  • Assist the RT leadership team with daily functions in maintaining high-quality patient care
  • Lead the review and implementation of clinical protocols, clinical projects, staff training and credentialing

Requirements

  • Qualified RT with current registration from AHPRA
  • Eligible for Radiation Users Licence with the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Demonstrated sound technical skills and have a sound understanding of Radiotherapy Practice and Principles
  • Expertise in Advanced Techniques Simulation, Planning and Treatment and learners’ supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, prioritise workload, manage a team under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to roll out and manage clinical projects within a multi-disciplinary framework.
