About the role
- Lead architectural projects as a Principal Application & Product Architect at Wolters Kluwer, driving strategic technology planning and high-quality designs for European region.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic analysis of business and stakeholder requirements
- Direct the development of comprehensive architectural blueprints and models
- Ensure compatibility and integration of new products/services with existing architecture
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed technical specifications
- Lead technical planning sessions and strategy alignment with organizational goals
- Drive in-depth testing, validation, and optimization processes
- Ensure strict adherence to organizational standards and industry best practices
- Identify and address complex architectural and integration challenges
- Communicate strategic updates and design modifications to stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members
- Collaborate with CoE and drive the main joint initiatives within the region (security CoE, architecture CoE, DevSecOps CoE)
- Drive reusability within and across regions
- Monitor cloud costs and drive initiatives to reduce or control unnecessary increases
- Drive best practices in designing, delivering and monitoring non functional requirements
- Ensure that the data about portfolio assets is always updated and in synch with the reality of the systems
- Drive main architecture processes like Architecture Reviews, Technical Debt, Architecture Decision Record
- Support M&A processes within and outside the region
