About the role

  • Architectural Specialist involved in product development and planning documentation for innovative lightweight constructions. Collaborating with teams to create 2D/3D plans and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • New development, further development and maintenance of our products and systems — from concept through testing phases to market launch.
  • Preparation of design, execution and detail drawings (2D/3D) for projects within our edifico lightweight construction system; maintenance of detail catalogs and drawing standards.
  • Development of innovative, modular construction proposals; BIM modelling (e.g. Revit); preparation of parts lists, quantity take-offs and overview drawings.
  • Preparation of technical documentation (assembly and planning guidelines, tender specifications, product data sheets) and participation in tests/approvals.
  • Close collaboration with internal departments (development, production, procurement and sales) and external coordination with architects, planning offices and specialist contractors.
  • Advising and supporting our customers in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture or a qualification as a technician or technical draftsperson
  • Experience in drywall and light-gauge steel construction is an advantage
  • Confident user of MS Office and experience with CAD software, e.g. Revit
  • Understanding of DIN/EN standards, detailing, fundamentals of building physics (thermal, acoustic, fire protection) and planning processes
  • Structured working style, enjoyment of teamwork and clear communication in cross-functional meetings
  • Business-fluent German spoken and written to ensure correct application of building regulations and standards
