About the role
- Industrialization Engineer at Withings focusing on product manufacturing and optimizing production lines. Collaborating with R&D teams and ensuring effective product realization in factories.
Responsibilities
- As part of the Research & Development team and reporting to the Head of Industrialization, you will be responsible for ensuring the industrialization of our products in the factory:
- Understand the electronic designs of our products and be able to analyze them to implement modifications and identify the root causes of complex failures
- Write test procedures and the software specifications for test commands that support product industrialization
- Act as the engineering interface between product development and product industrialization in factories in Asia
- Set up and optimize the production line during NPI phases
- Ensure the successful operation of NPI
- Anticipate, manage and resolve issues on the production floor
- Analyze raw production data
Requirements
- You hold a degree from a Grande École d'Ingénieur or equivalent, or a PhD
- You have strong knowledge of and a passion for electronics and mechanics
- You can approach and break down complex problems
- You have a very good level of English (written and spoken). Proficiency in additional languages, notably Mandarin, is a plus
- You want to apply your knowledge of analog and digital electronics and/or radio communication systems to the industrialization of complex embedded systems
- You have a strong capacity for learning; a customer-service mindset and technical curiosity will be essential to succeed in this role
- You are rigorous, organized, versatile and proactive
- You communicate effectively in French and English, both written and spoken
- You enjoy working in a start-up atmosphere
- You are exacting in your work and leave nothing to chance
