About the role

Responsibilities
- Create test and inspection plans for safety testing
- Perform safety tests and certification tasks (EU, CE, UKCA) and prepare declarations of conformity
- Coordinate and liaise with external test laboratories; support approvals for USA, Canada and China (UL/CSA, CCC)
- Organize and maintain the in-house laboratory
- Act as technical point of contact for development and project management
- Stay up to date with the state of the art and ensure familiarity with current standards
Requirements
- Training as an electrical technician (m/f/d) or degree in electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification (technician/engineer, etc.)
- Several years of professional experience in this or a comparable field is essential
- Experience working with Windows and Linux
- Experience with relevant measurement instruments and temperature testing
- Good knowledge of MS Office products such as Word and Excel
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
