About the role

  • Senior Manager leading corporate vendor management strategies at Wiley. Ensuring compliance and governance throughout the vendor lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams on vendor risk.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise Corporate Vendor Management strategy, establishing standardized vendor governance, risk management, and operating models across the organization
  • Own end-to-end vendor lifecycle oversight, ensuring consistent standards, risk mitigation, and remediation from onboarding through offboarding
  • Direct governance, policy compliance, and MSP oversight, driving adherence, reporting, remediation, and value realization across vendor and contingent workforce programs
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging process optimization, automation, and AI initiatives to enhance efficiency and control

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sourcing and / or Procurement Management
  • 3-5 years experience with Vendor Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa)
