About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the smooth operation of the technical infrastructure in our data centers.
- Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and documenting electrical and HVAC systems.
- Ensure high availability and operational reliability together with the data center leadership team.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities.
- Liaise with service providers, suppliers and internal departments.
- Assist with incident analysis and fault remediation.
- Contribute to technical projects (e.g., modernization and optimization measures).
- Prepare maintenance and operational plans.
- Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support audits, certifications and regulatory inspections/approvals.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports and maintenance records.
- Participate in on-call and standby duty to ensure 24/7 operational readiness.
Requirements
- Completed technical training in electrical engineering, refrigeration/HVAC, utility engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in technical building operations, ideally in data centers or industrial/plant environments.
- Preferably advanced basic knowledge of power supply systems, HVAC and measurement & control (M&C) technology.
- Prior knowledge of occupational safety and technical standards is an advantage.
- Confident use of documentation systems, maintenance software and MS Office.
- Solid technical understanding and analytical thinking skills.
- Reliable and structured working style with a high degree of independence.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to pursue further training and take on increasing responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license (car) and willingness to travel.
