About the role

  • Data Analyst for Whow Games developing analytics frameworks and optimizing game performance metrics in Hamburg. Working with advanced tools to boost revenue and retention across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve measurement frameworks (e.g., feature adoption, engagement scoring, incrementality tests, user health metrics) and apply advanced statistical methods to guide roadmap prioritization, feature mix, and retention strategies.
  • Build and maintain scalable dbt data models and Tableau dashboards that enable self-service reporting on product performance (DAU/MAU, feature adoption rates, retention curves, engagement depth, monetization funnels).
  • Analyze product performance across platforms and develop predictive engagement models for hybrid monetization (IAP + ad revenue).
  • Own optimization of the conversion funnel and monetization event tracking.
  • Design and oversee A/B tests for feature launches, UI/UX variants, onboarding flows, and monetization mechanics to optimize the entire user journey.
  • Conduct user segmentation, behavioral cohort analysis, and user journey mapping to identify opportunities in engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Work closely with Data and Product Engineering to ensure data quality across product analytics tools, the BI stack, and backend event systems.
  • Communicate insights clearly and convincingly to influence senior leadership and drive data-informed decisions for the product roadmap and feature prioritization.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in product analytics and data modeling (B2C product experience preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling (e.g., churn prediction, LTV forecasting)
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and Tableau (or comparable BI tools)
  • Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning (regression, Bayesian methods, causal inference, experimentation design) applied to product use cases
  • Deep understanding of product metrics frameworks, funnel analysis, and A/B testing in digital products and in-app experiences
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, results-oriented working style with ownership for analyses from the data pipeline to business impact
  • Fluent English
