About the role
- Procurement Sr. Principal managing procurement processes and personnel for APX Supply Chain's projects. Overseeing procurement activities and negotiating supplier contracts in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the successful procurement of equipment that supports several AP1000 New Plant Projects within the APX Supply Chain's Procurement Management portfolio
- Manage Procurement personnel and oversee procurement activities during the pre-Purchase Order (PO) phase and the PO placement phase
- Support Project Management personnel during the PO execution phase
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements with suppliers
- Process and approve purchase orders within limits of authority
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and Supply Chain Experience required
- 10+ years of relevant experience; at least 5 years in a leadership role of project management of major technical projects
- In-depth manufacturing, financial, and economic skills and understanding of APX Supply Chain Products
