• Senior Mechanical Engineer at Westinghouse providing clean energy solutions through design and analysis of Reactor Mechanical Products. Responsibilities include design, documentation, and support for fabrication, ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions and support fabrication/installation drawings for RMP products.
• Author and verify design documentation including specifications, structural analyses, test plans, and design reports.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication and installation of plant upgrades and modifications.
• Provide emergent support for outage issues related to RMP products.
• Design mechanical systems, equipment, and products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated system solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (with Structural Engineering experience)
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience performing structural analyses with Ansys Workbench, Ansys APDL, GTStrudl, and hand calculations.
• Experience with ASME B&PVC Section III Subsection NF and/or AISC Allowable Stress Design preferred.
• Willing to travel ~5-10% of time.
• Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain is a plus
