Principal Procurement Project Manager overseeing procurement activities for Energy Systems at Westinghouse. Ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and health and quality standards in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee all the procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) for Energy Systems
Ensure components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meeting all applicable quality requirements
Lead all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-PO and post PO to ensure predictive delivery during execution.
Partner with GSCS functional teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements.
Monitor active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate.
Investigate, coordinate, and communicate project changes.
Contribute to development a sourcing plan that will minimize risks, generate savings, and ensure predictive delivery through projects execution.
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of experience (experience in contract/project administration, preferably of large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects is preferred)
Ability to develop and maintain long term productive relationships with suppliers (SRM)
A team player collaborating with multiple regions & product lines to serve Westinghouse's customers.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate and engage at all organizational levels, ability to cultivate and sustain high quality professional relationships.
Experience in International Sourcing and knowledge of supplier base for the nuclear sector is a plus.
Strategic & analytical orientation with ability to translate strategy into tangible operational results.
Experience with large and complex cross-functional projects
Ability to travel (10 to 20%).
