About the role

  • Principal Procurement Project Manager overseeing procurement activities for Energy Systems at Westinghouse. Ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and health and quality standards in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all the procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) for Energy Systems
  • Ensure components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meeting all applicable quality requirements
  • Lead all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-PO and post PO to ensure predictive delivery during execution.
  • Partner with GSCS functional teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Investigate, coordinate, and communicate project changes.
  • Contribute to development a sourcing plan that will minimize risks, generate savings, and ensure predictive delivery through projects execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience (experience in contract/project administration, preferably of large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects is preferred)
  • Ability to develop and maintain long term productive relationships with suppliers (SRM)
  • A team player collaborating with multiple regions & product lines to serve Westinghouse's customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate and engage at all organizational levels, ability to cultivate and sustain high quality professional relationships.
  • Experience in International Sourcing and knowledge of supplier base for the nuclear sector is a plus.
  • Strategic & analytical orientation with ability to translate strategy into tangible operational results.
  • Experience with large and complex cross-functional projects
  • Ability to travel (10 to 20%).
