Responsibilities
Oversee daily field operations across multiple sand mining and aggregate production sites throughout Colorado
Conduct regular site visits to monitor operational performance, personnel, and compliance
Ensure consistent application of company standards, procedures, and best practices at all locations
Direct and optimize material handling operations including extraction, stockpiling, loading, and transfer of sand and aggregate materials
Oversee rock crushing, screening, and classification processes to ensure product quality and yield targets are met
Develop and manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly production schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory targets
Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and maximize overall plant availability
Champion a strong safety culture across all sites in alignment with MSHA regulations and company safety policies
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in mining, aggregate, sand, or heavy materials operations
Experience managing multiple sites or small to medium-scale field operations
Strong understanding of material handling systems and production processes
Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and hourly field staff
Working knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations
Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel regularly between Colorado operating sites
Valid driver’s license
