About the role

  • Develop and edit teaching materials (print and digital) for modern German lessons in elementary school
  • Oversee German teaching series/coursebooks
  • Lead editorial and author teams and collaborate closely with them
  • Work with typesetters, illustrators and other internal and external service providers

Requirements

  • Completed degree, preferably a teaching degree with a focus on German
  • Ideally, some classroom teaching experience
  • Extensive subject-specific and didactic-methodological knowledge
  • Editorial experience producing print and digital materials in an educational publishing house
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Strong digital affinity
  • Creativity, determination and organizational skills
  • Team player
