About the role

  • Lead Product Manager improving user experience in BSA/AML data workflows at Wells Fargo. Transforming compliance processes through design thinking and collaboration with operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Data, and Operations teams to align user experience with data quality, lineage, and governance standards across client reference data domains.
  • Apply design thinking to map end-to-end compliance journeys—identifying pain points, redundancies, and automation opportunities.
  • Simplify how users interact with Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven and data-enabled platforms, ensuring transparency, explainability, and confidence in decision-making.
  • Experience in blue printing and systems architecture design.
  • Contribute to a unified experience framework and design system that supports consistency across all SSO compliance and data products.
  • Embed agile design practices into product delivery—prototyping, testing, and refining based on real user feedback.
  • Develop measurable outcomes linking design improvements to operational gains in accuracy, cycle time, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, modelers, and compliance partners to translate regulatory and data requirements into practical, user-centered design solutions.
  • Design intuitive tools and workflows that enhance BSA/AML functions such as onboarding, Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and transaction monitoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5 years of experience in product, User design (UX), or service design, ideally within financial services or compliance environments.
  • Strong grounding in design thinking, journey mapping, and agile delivery.
  • Ability to interpret data structures, operational pain points, and user behaviors to inform design choices.
  • Proven ability to design complex data workflows and internal enterprise tools.
  • Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and client reference data processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business audiences.
