Responsibilities
Guide a team of accounting professionals
Continuously drive greater efficiencies and lower costs
Coordinate with company partners to handle the accumulation, recording, accuracy and control of accounting transactions
Assist in the resolution of accounting issues
Coordinate workforce planning and career development activities for team members
Hold team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes
Ensure adequate financial accounting controls and integrity of our financial records
Collaborate with others to establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulations
Develop and handle financial analysis and reporting
Lead sophisticated projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Previous experience leading or supervising a team
